Garey Markley has a 1997 International 4800 series brush engine with all wheel drive, a deck cannon, a front-mounted winch, flatbed and snow plow. The vehicle has a gross vehicle weight of 37,000 and holds up to 800 gallons. The engine is foam capable for CAFS, high expansion, mid-expansion and asperated foam. The engine requires a crew of three for fighting fires.
In addition to contracting with the Forest Service, Markley offers fire control for prescribed burns. The rate for services requiring the engine are $200.00 per hour.
